I don’t know about you but worry comes pretty naturally to me. I can really, without much effort become massively anxious over things that I have little power to change or do anything about. Of course this is folly; neither good for productive thinking nor good for our personal health. But there is another way: a more redemptive way and that is of course found in following Jesus. That way is too restrict our focus to today and the choices and things that we must tackle on this day in the strength that God provides for this day.
When Jesus touches you, his healing is so complete that you can then use your experience to help others that are bound like you were. The bible puts it this way: “3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God” (2 Cor. 1:3-4).
